Three Big Goals

1.

We believe that everyone at Family Church has a role to play in this vision, so our goal is to engage 100% of our church family in this generosity initiative in some way. Everyone can participate by praying for our leaders, our church family, and our growing community as we prepare to build a new church home to reach one more.

2.

Our goal is to engage and develop future church servant leaders as we prepare for exponential growth. Help us prepare for the future by leaning in and serving in any area you are asked to serve, whether large or small. It takes a team of many to meet the needs of serving our church community.

3.

Our goal is to raise at least $1.5 million to bridge the financial gap between our current savings and the financing needed to build an approximately 24,000-square-foot building by 2028.

We’re praying for those in our neighborhoods and throughout Sumter County who don’t yet know Jesus, while also asking God to guide our own hearts in generosity. Join us for a special prayer gathering before Commitment Sunday as we come together in faith, asking God to move powerfully through this initiative.

For The One is a God-sent, God-sized vision for Family Church. It is a 25-month journey of sacrificial giving designed to expand our ministry. By making this commitment together, Family Church can build a new campus to fulfill our mission in Sumter County and beyond. This new site will allow us to continue helping more people find and follow Jesus Christ by providing much-needed space.

It starts in October with our Vision nights and then progresses through Commitment Weekend on November 8, 2026.

Pray about a financial commitment that you and your family will make on Commitment Sunday, November 8, 2026, above and beyond your normal tithes and offerings. We encourage you to give courageously, give consistently, and give creatively. In addition to cash, consider other ways you may be able to give, such as appreciated mutual funds, stocks, bonds, vehicles, or even real estate.

No, your commitment is between you and God. You’ll be able to view statements in the Church Center app showing your giving progress toward your commitment, along with your regular giving records. As with your giving information today, all commitment and giving records will remain confidential and accessible only to the minimum number of people who need access to financial records.

You can give anytime over the next 25 months ending December 2028. We do encourage you give regularly and, if possible, a meaningful part of your commitment by November 8, 2026. This will allow church leaders to have the best information for planning the building.
